I knew my story gave me a platform to reach out to others who have been decimated by the horrific traumas life can bring.
The insight propelled me on a quest, to walk the earth, and collect stories from real locals around the world about their most profound experiences. Because when you use your trauma to empower others, you empower yourself as well, and nothing is in vain.
So I embarked on a solo backpacking adventure, gathering stories of resilience and delicate strength. This turned into something far greater than I could have imagined, as locals seized the opportunity for an American author to share their voice.
From startling insights about social issues, to a declaration of love, to a major war secret unknown to the American public, the stories surpassed my boldest dreams, from the dawn of this daunting endeavor.

MY STORY

A Beautiful Story Project shares the science behind the tools that took me from a place of sheer brokenness to one of peace & empowerment—free resources, available to anyone, no matter where you are in the world or in your mind, practices that have been cherished in Eastern philosophy for thousands of years.
The journey diverges into insights on the science behind jñana and bhakti—ancient and time-honored traditions that heal and transform the body and the mind.
My research, disciplines, and the inner refinement they provide have posited me as an authority in the realm of real transformation—profound change accessible to anyone, no matter what you have been through.

After I’d backpacked across Southeast Asia and entered South America, the manuscript had grown to the length I'd envisioned for the final book—but I was only half way through the journey. And so I had an epiphany. My ultimate goal was to show that real empowerment and transformation are possible even in the aftermath of unspeakable horrors. I decided to pause the travel plot and work on myself until this truth existed, unshakable, as my core.
